Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Jones, 95, of Princeton will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m. at the Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Boone officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Friends are invited to gather for these services and a time of fellowship afterwards.
Ms. Jones died Sunday, Dec. 16, at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa. She was a graduate of Butler High School and the St. Louis Institute of Music and taught music at the Texas Military Institute in San Antonia, Texas before returning to the family farm in Princeton. She was retired after teaching piano for many years in Princeton. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church.
Her parents were Clyde T. and Auda Mae Jones.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert William “Bill” Jones.
Survivors are: a niece, Cherri Cunningham of Gallatin, Tenn.; a nephew, Dr. Gary Jones of Duluth, Minn.; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International or a charity of choice in her name.
