Glenn Jackson, age 96 of Paducah, formerly of Kuttawa, died at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at his home in Reidland. Mr. Jackson was a partner with his brother, R. E. Jackson, in Jackson Brothers Trucking for many years in Lyon County. After moving to Paducah, KY he worked for and retired from Dairyman, Inc. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah and a US Army Veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Lois Timmons Jackson; five brothers, Willie Jackson, R. E. Jackson, A. B. Jackson, Herbert Jackson, Malloy Jackson; two sisters, Mary Cash and Janie Norris; his parents, Dan and Minnie Fitts Jackson.

Survivors include one son, Dathal Jackson of Benton; one daughter, Betty Andrews of Paducah; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Gospel Assembly Church, 2100 Ohio St., Paducah with Rev. Encil Edmonds and Rev. Michael Hunt officiating and burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery in Lyon County with military rites. Visitation was Tuesday, June 11 at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville and will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah.
