Sheila Kennedy-Guess, PT, DPT, CLT earned a Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University With Distinction (3.9 or greater GPA) and participated in the university's graduation ceremony on May 16.
She is the daughter of the late Robert L. Kennedy and Katrina L. Kennedy.
Arcadia University is a top ranked private university in greater Philadelphia. The university's physical therapy and physician assistant programs are nationally ranked in their respective categories by "US News and World Report."
Kennedy-Guess graduated from Lyon County High School in 1988 and obtained her Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kentucky in 1993.
She currently resides in Jeffersonville with her husband, David Guess, formerly of Lyon County, and her children, Kaitlyn and Christian.
She is clinic director at KORT Physical Therapy in Clarksville, Ind. with specialties in pelvic health and lymphedema.
Kennedy-Guess is the first author of a case report that has been accepted for publication in the "Journal of Women's Health Physical Therapy."
