The Trigg County High School Volleyball Team hosted the Murray High School Lady Tigers on Monday, Oct. 1.

The freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams all competed.

The freshman team lost the first two matches to the Lady Tigers, resulting in a loss for the night.

The Junior Varsity Lady Cats were also defeated in the first two matches.

In between the junior varsity and varsity games, the players and coaches took a break to celebrate the senior girls on the team.

Four of the junior varsity players recognized the four Lady Tiger seniors from Murray High School by giving them a single yellow rose.

There are four girls on the Trigg County team who were recognized as well. Chloe Williamson, Lexie Wright, Ja'Niah Boyd, and Hannah McNichols were all recognized as outgoing seniors along with their families that support them in their athletic achievements.

The Varsity Lady Cats came out with the win over the Lady Tigers.
