Heidi Waller, 76


A funeral mass for Heidi Waller, 76, of Cadiz, was held Friday, February 15, 2019 at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Gregory Trawick officiating and a eulogy by Al Smith. Entombment followed in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Ky. King's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Heidi Waller passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born in Potsdam, Germany on May 1, 1942 to the late Paul Wilhelm Streich and Waltraud Wiesner Streich. She was a retired real estate broker where she had an extensive and long-standing career in the real estate business. She and her husband, Lynn, loved world travel and spending time in their winter home in Naples, Fla. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Waller.

She is survived by her son, Edmund V. Smith, Huntington, West Va.; daughter, Simone Suzette Smith, Naples, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Hartmut Streich (Barbel), Wetzlar, Germany; grandchildren, Gus Smith, Chapmansboro, Tenn., Lyle Smith, Chapmansboro, Tenn.; nephews, Michael Streich, Germany, Andreas Streich, Germany; and several step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
