Trigg County DECA enters national competition

The DECA chapter at Trigg County High School competes in a national competition every year. This year's state competition will be the week of March 3-5. The group -- Leah Major and Claire Ladd -- chose the Finance Operations Research Event. The members selected The Bank of Cadiz & Trust Co. as their business for the project. Members stated in the paper the aspects that makes the bank the best bank to be apart of and the ways the bank satisfies customers. The locally owned operation is one that supports the community. The revenue and clients keeps increasing year after year for this local bank. Although, there are some things we want to implement to increase more customer satisfaction. The ideas we created were to start a new placement of ads in the newspaper called Call Connect, update social media, creation of a new app called Find My Debit Card, and to increase ATM's in the local communities. These are all precautions to help customer satisfaction and increase revenue. The plan of this bank is to serve the community and remain local, but we would like to provide more clients for the bank. If you are interested in becoming a client, call 270-522-6066.
