The Trigg County Fiscal Court heard a settlement report from County Clerk Carmen Finley at their first meeting of the month on Monday.

Finley reported that she settled the clerk's office 2018 account with an excess of $148,963.

"It is an honor and a privilege to serve you and I am happy to report that I have written a check back to the court," she said.

The court also re-appointed Scott Bridges to serve another four-year term on the Barkley Lake Water District Board. They also appointed Dale Henderson for a four-year term to fill a vacant seat on the board.

Magistrate Alana Baker reported that work is being done to fix culverts on East Lake Road, but recent rain amounts have made it difficult to finish the project. She also asked about getting work done on culverts on Boyd Lake Branch Road and if repairs could be made to Maggie Road.The next meeting of the fiscal court is Monday, March 18.
