Varsity Scoreboard signs on as league sponsor

A scoreboard similar to the one pictured is being donated to the Miracle League field planned for Mike Miller Park.

The Miracle League of Western Kentucky last week announced that Varsity Scoreboards has signed on as a corporate sponsor of the league. As a sponsor, they will donate an 8-foot scoreboard with wireless controller and will assist with its installation when the field is complete.

"Varsity Scoreboards is proud to partner with The Miracle League in Marshall County on this awesome project. We believe that everyone, regardless of ability, should have the chance to play baseball on a world class field. We encourage other businesses to also get involved with The Miracle League to help make a difference in lives throughout our communities." said Varsity Scoreboards Director of Business Development, Janson James.

"We are so grateful to Varsity Scoreboards for reaching out to us to support this amazing cause. We look forward to working with them as this dream becomes a reality." said Marshall County Parks Director Britney Heath.

The Miracle League of Western Kentucky has launched a $1 million capital campaign to raise funds to bring the specialized baseball field and playground to Mike Miller Park.

Sponsorship opportunities are available to businesses, organizations and individuals who wish to get involved. More information is available by contacting Britney Heath at 270-527-5284.
