DRAFFENVILLE -- Marshall County High School hosted the Lake Chem Summer Shootout this past weekend for some off-season basketball action. Over a dozen teams from across the tri-state area gathered to engage in friendly competition.

Twenty-six games Friday and 21 games Saturday were held at three locations.

Schools brought their varsity, junior varsity, and ninth-grade teams to play at the MCHS main gym, MCHS auxiliary gym, and the North Marshall Middle School gym.

The teams will be back on the floor June 17-18. Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer on their favorite teams.
