Still Undefeated

(From left) Neal Haley, Barney Thweatt and Tom Mathis were the guests of honor for a recent celebration at The Stilley House in Benton, where all three reside, in recognition of their feat as the 1948 Brewers State Championship team, the last undefeated boys state championship team in Kentucky.

Haley, Thweatt and Mathis were presented with keys to the City of Benton and t-shirts bearing their names and numbers along with the phrase, “Still Undefeated� on the front.
