Ms. Jackie Dedmon, age 87, of Benton, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at her home. She was a a very successful business woman who owned the KY Dam Bait Farm. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, and was a KY Colonel and KY Admiral.

Born Saturday, May 28, 1932 in Smithville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Buren B. Wilson and the late Pearl (Keith) Wilson.

Surviving are daughters, Mary Jayne Choat, husband Lindell of Kuttawa, and Linda Kay Dunn of Gilbertsville; four grandchildren, Adam Embry, Tyler Dedmon, Grant Embry, and Katlan Bonds; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jimmy Dedmon.

A funeral service was held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton.

Entombment followed in Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton.
