A ribbon cutting was held at Mike Miller Park recently to showcase the newly updated splash pad. Jim Defew custom painted each of the spray features making the facility one of a kind. The splash pad will now officially be named the Defew's Body Shop Splash Pad in recognition of their donation and work.

In addition to the custom painted spray features, a new surface has been installed making the splash pad more colorful and providing a texture that will help to prevent slips and falls.

The Defew's Body Shop Splash Pad officially opened for the season last Friday.
