Funeral services for Morgan Douglas Hancock, Sr., 62, of Princeton, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Second Baptist Church with Pastor C.R. Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the service hour at the church. Gamble Funeral Home of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
Morgan Hancock passed away of natural causes at 7:53 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
He was born December 19, 1955 in Trigg County to the late James C. Hancock, Sr. and Sarah F. Malone Wilson.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Cadiz and had been employed by Bremner in Princeton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step daughter and six siblings.
Morgan Hancock is survived by his wife, Joanne Williams Hancock, of Princeton; children, Morgan (Carmen) Hancock, Jr., Vannetta Hancock, and TaPaulda Hancock, all of Hopkinsville, Priscilla Harris, Terri (Kenneth) Harris, and Catherine Blount, all of Princeton, and John (Martha) Springfield, of Earlington; siblings, O.E. Hancock, Arthur (Glenda) Malone, all of Hopkinsville, James Hancock Jr., Cecily Malone and Rose Street, all of Cadiz; 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
